Terms of Trade

1. Engagement
All work is undertaken under a written engagement letter agreed between Grosvenor & Guild Press and the author. The engagement letter supersedes any prior correspondence and defines the package, deliverables, timeline and fees for the specific project.
2. Payments
Fees are quoted exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. A deposit is required to confirm a production slot, with staged payments due at agreed milestones. Work may pause if payment deadlines are missed.
3. Rights & Ownership
The author retains full copyright, moral rights and all intellectual property in the manuscript and finished work. Grosvenor & Guild Press is granted a limited licence to use the work for production, distribution and marketing purposes during the term of the engagement.
4. Production Slots
Production slots are strictly limited to twelve manuscripts per calendar month. A deposit secures the next available slot. Allocation is at the sole discretion of the editorial directorate.
5. Author Responsibilities
The author warrants that the manuscript is original, does not infringe any third-party rights, and is provided in the agreed format. Delays in returning proofs or requested materials may extend the timeline.
6. Limitation of Liability
Grosvenor & Guild Press liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We do not guarantee specific sales, media coverage or commercial outcomes.
